Top 7 Eco-Friendly and Gas Saving Cars

You might be struggling a bit finding a car that’s suitable for your needs. In this blog, we tell not the newest, not the fanciest, but the cars we think are gas-saving, power-saving, and money-saving cars!

Gas Saving

We all know that gas is a huge expense from a month to month basis, so it’s best to purchase a car that doesn’t run a bunch of gas. On top of spending less money on gas, you’ll also help with the environment.

2015 Ford Focus

The 2015 Ford Focus has a 1.0 liter and Eco-Boost engine! Fun fact, this car was named “International Engine of the Year” until 2018! This is a nice, sturdy, small sedan that saves gas and has an EcoBoost unit. EcoBoost effectively helps to save gas in the long term run. With leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a power-adjustable driver’s seat, the features on this car also include a USB port, Bluetooth, and a SYNC voice-control system. This car is a must-have if you’re looking for something simple yet smart.

2016 Ford Focus

Another Ford! It’s a really reliable company (as much as we wish, this blog isn’t sponsored, we promise). This car has a 2.0-liter engine with an electronically controlled transmission and a battery-powered electric motor. This car gives 188 horsepower! It’s great for money and gas savers! This sedan seats five people with leather seats, although the front seats are much more spacious than the back. Competitors that sit in the back will fight for the outside seat rather than the middle. The car’s overall comfy for small parties!

2017 Kia Niro

Here we have an SUV for big parties or families. We didn’t forget! This 2017 model has a great fuel economy with a 4 cylinder, 1.6-liter engine. This bad baby has 146 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque! The interior of this SUV has seats for five people, which are heated and ventilated in the front for parents and/or chaperones. With a leather-wrapped steering wheel that’s also heated, the 2017 Kia Niro is a comfy and classic SUV that’s just right for the family!

2018 Nissan Kicks

This trusty Nissan has a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine with 125 horsepower. This car seats five people with two rows. The front and rear seats are fairly spacious, as the rear can fit two adults easily but is a bit cramped for three. With heated front seats and a stable leather steering wheel, this car has nice and smart features such as not one, not two, but three USB ports for big parties, Bluetooth, and a 7-inch touch screen! The touch screen is compatible with Apple CarPlay/Android Auto! The subcompact SUV is perfect for tech-savvy families.

Eco-Friendly Cars

Eco-friendly cars use less oil than traditional cars. Electric cars don’t use any oil at all, while non-electric use much less oil than regular cars. If you’re an Earth Day fanatic, these few cars might be the go-to for you.

2018 Kia Soul EV

The 2018 Kia Soul EV is the first electric car on our list. This 2018 model has an electric engine with a 109 horsepower score. The front seats of this car have heated and ventilated features with cloth seats, although leather seats are also available. Five people can sit in this hatchback, and they can enjoy themselves with electronic features such as an AUX port, an MP3 player, and a wireless cellphone hookup for a smooth navigation trip. The driver can feel safe with a backup camera, heated mirrors, steering wheel controls, keyless entry, and a vehicle anti-theft system to allow you to sleep soundly

2017 Ford Fusion Energi

This five-seater hybrid sedan can plug in and charge fully in 7 hours with 120 volts or 2 ½ hours with 240 volts. It can charge in your seat! If you forgot to charge it, you can gas it up with a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine with 188 horsepower! The interior of this car is covered in black leather, and not a dark gray, like most cars these years. With parking assist, heated mirrors, and remote keyless entry, the car is ensured to make drivers feel safe and comfortable for an easier ride. For a smooth, calm ride, there’s an AUX port and Apple CarPlay along with Android Auto. The sedan is a game-changer for sure.

2019 Toyota Camry Hybrid

With a 2.5-liter, 4 cylinder engine with 208 horsepower combined with a hybrid engine, the first and last Toyota on our list is a Camry Hybrid! As the car comes with either cloth or leather upholstery, heated front seats, roomy seats in both the front and back, it’s comfortable for drivers. With a 7-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, this car also comes with Amazon Alexa, Siri Eyes Free, and a USB port. Keyless Entry and Bluetooth make it simple for the driver to get on the road quickly.
